Relationships take work — you don't have to do it alone

Every relationship goes through seasons of difficulty. Couples therapy gives you a structured, supportive space to slow down, understand each other's patterns, and build the skills to move forward together — whatever "forward" looks like for you.

Areas We Help With

Communication & Conflict

  • Breaking negative communication cycles

  • Conflict resolution and fair fighting

  • Feeling unheard or disconnected

Life Transitions & Parenting

  • Adjusting to new parenthood

  • Blended family challenges

  • Career changes and relocation stress

Trust & Betrayal

  • Infidelity and affair recovery

  • Rebuilding trust after a breach

  • Emotional or online affairs

Intimacy & Connection

  • Emotional distance and disconnection

  • Physical intimacy concerns

  • Reigniting connection long-term

"The average person receiving couple therapy is better off at termination than 70%–80% of individuals not receiving treatment—an improvement rate that rivals or exceeds the most effective psychosocial and pharmacological interventions for individual mental health disorders."

Our Approach

We draw from evidence-based, relationship-focused approaches tailored to what you and your partner actually need — not a one-size-fits-all script.

Sessions are collaborative, practical, and paced to your comfort. Drawing from the renowned Gottman Method and Cognitive Behavioral communication strategies, we help couples stop destructive patterns and build something truly meaningful.

Insurance & Payment

Routine individual or therapy services may be covered in full or in part by your medical health insurance plan. Insurance companies require a mental health diagnosis in order to cover services.

We are able to accept most plans through the following health insurance providers:

  • ND Blue Cross Blue Shield (NDBCBS)

  • ND Medicaid/Medicaid Expansion

  • Sanford Health Plan

  • TRICARE

  • Self-pay options available

It should be noted that couples/marriage therapy is not always a covered service, so communicating with your specific health insurance provider is essential in understanding the cost of services.
